Oh great ... I'm coming back as a water buffalo

A few of my blogger friends have posted this book quiz on their blogs. So, here I am, following in their footsteps. I have to say ... the synopsis is pretty head on, although the questions needed some room for "none of the above."

You're The Things They Carried!

by Tim O'Brien

Harsh and bitter, you tell it like it is. This usually comes in short,
dramatic spurts of spilling your guts in various ways. You carry a heavy load, and this
has weighed you down with all the horrors that humanity has to offer. Having seen and
done a great deal that you aren't proud of, you have no choice but to walk forward,
trudging slowly through ongoing mud. In the next life, you will come back as a water
buffalo.

I disagree.

"trudging slowly through ongoing mud..."

Today, you are the water buffalo. Tomorrow, or in the next life (however we define it) I see you as evolving into an elephant.

Strong, loyal, gentle, and protective. Elephants are a symbol of wisdom in Asian cultures, and they have no natural predators.

Water buffalo? I don't think so. You've paid your dues for the WB membership, it's time to upgrade, sweet rae!

Hugs!

You are so not coming back as a water buffalo! But I like kind of like the description otherwise. That's a fun quiz!
